How we approach it

Native first. Custom code only when we have to.

First, the native integration

If two tools already have a built-in integration that does what you need, that's almost always the right answer. It's cheaper, it's supported by the vendors, and it doesn't break when one of them ships an update.

Then, low-code or no-code

If there's no native integration, tools like Zapier or Make can usually bridge the gap in a few hours. Your team can see exactly what's happening, and your future bookkeeper or assistant can tweak it without calling us.

Finally, custom code

Custom code only when the first two genuinely can't do the job. It costs more, takes longer and needs more babysitting — so we save it for the cases where it really earns its place.
